Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to DR Instruments. Information collected such as name, address, phone #, fax #, credit card information and email address during ordering process will not be shared with any third party unless it is permitted by the customer. However, we have to share information if we are required by law or requested by a law enforcement agency to provide information about a customer.

Promotions
We may use the collected information occasionally to notify you about new products, promotions, and special offers that will benefit you. If you are not interested in receiving this information, please email us at dr_instruments@att.net and we will eliminate your name from the mailing list.

Liability
Dissecting instruments are demonstrational-for classroom use only. These tools are neither for surgical/medical nor for veterinary use.

DR Instrument is not liable for any injury caused by the miss use, abuse, and unintended use of its product(s). DR Instrument makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to any other site to which this site links is at your sole risk. The maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for any product or service.

Order Policy
Prompt shipping/delivery is assured but is subject to reconfirmation of the order by the customer in response to our email or phone call within two days from the date of order placed online. Any orders received, between the hours of 9:00AM to 4:30PM Central Standard Time, will be shipped promptly subject to stock availability; otherwise customer will be notified via email of the order status.

Video / Utility furniture -Shipping products will be shipped within 7 to 10 days of the order receipt, subject to stock availability.

We highly recommend that customers should calculate the time of delivery carefully before placing order and should select the proper shipping options (UPS ground, 2nd day air, 3-day select and overnight) DR Instruments has no control over it and will not be responsible for products arriving late as per customer's expectation.

Shipping Charges
As our shopping cart automatically calculates shipping charges when placing an order, in some cases the shipping charges are not final; they are only estimated freight charges. Overweight and big volume products require higher shipping and handling charges. Customers will be notified of the exact shipping charges via email or a phone call for approval of the new shipping charges. DR Instruments reserves the right to cancel any order that does not get customer approval.

USA Shipping
All orders will be shipped via insured UPS ground or as per your choice of UPS services. UPS will not deliver to P.O.Box(s). Be sure to give us a physical address otherwise the shipment may be delayed. You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when the order is in transit. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

International Shipping
International orders are shipped via UPS or US mail. For large orders, please contact us via email:sales@drinstruments.com or phone 708-599-3442 for shipment arrangements. Customers will be liable for all customs, duties, and taxes applicable to the product in their respective countries. We recommend that you contact your customs office for details of those charges.

Return Policy
Products may be returned within 15 days after the delivery date for a refund. The refund will be only for the product price excluding all other overhead charges (shipping, & handling or any other charges related to the order). There will be a 15% restocking and return handling fee on Digital cameras, microscopes and specialty furniture products.

Video / Utility furniture products may be returned for product credit only with prior written authorization. There will be restocking fee of 25% the net invoice amount on all specialty furniture products. All returns must be made within 30 days of return authorization.

Refund is subject to the following conditions :

1. The product must be returned in resalable condition.
2. All packaging material must be included.
3. Packaging material must not be torn or damaged.
4. Customer will pay return shipping expenses.

Note:
We recommend that returns should be sent through an insured carrier. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Free Freight Policy
- Our system will calculate freight on all size orders while you are processing your order, and then we will deduct the freight charges on all orders $70.00 and up before shipping the order(s).
- Free freight is available on orders of $70.00 and up for Dissection Instruments only.
- Freight free orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS.
